As we welcome 2014 it is common practice to reflect on the previous year and figure out what worked, what didn’t, and what to improve on for the new year. By taking inventory on these things it becomes easy to form resolutions. Last year Cut made education a huge priority in the salon: appointing coloring and styling educators, attending selected beauty courses, and holding regular in salon classes for all the stylists. This push for continued education was highly beneficial to all the stylists and the salon so for 2014 ongoing education will again be a resolution for us.
We are off to a fantastic start for this resolution, this week Cut’s Founder, Stylist, and Creative Director: Raphael Alvarez is attending the Creative Cutting Course at the renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy. This Course will not only teach innovative cutting techniques but is meant to inspire and elevate work to a new level. Raphael will act as a representative for Cut at the course and upon his return will share the knowledge he has gained with all the Cut stylists. All this boils down to Cut patrons leaving the salon feeling beautiful everytime.
To take a quote from Vidal Sassoon himself, ” The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary.” Cut resolves to keep putting in the work.
